1. Introduction

Welcome to Soundify.io (“Soundify,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website, music library, and services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use our Services.

2. License Agreement

Soundify grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our music and sound effects, subject to the terms of your subscription plan. This license includes:
 

• Synchronization Rights: For pairing music with visual content.

• Mechanical Rights: For reproduction in media.

• Public Performance Rights: For live or broadcast use.

• License Validity: The license is only valid for projects created and published during an active subscription.

If your subscription ends, you retain the rights to use the music in projects created and published while your subscription was active, but you may not use the music in new projects or redistribute it in any way.

All rights are worldwide and perpetual for content published during an active subscription period.

3. Acceptable Use

You may only use Soundify’s music and sound effects in accordance with the following:
 

• For creating content such as videos, podcasts, advertisements, live events, games, and other multimedia projects.

  In compliance with copyright laws and these Terms.

• 
  Without redistribution, resale, or sublicensing of individual tracks.

Prohibited uses include but are not limited to:
 

• Using music after your subscription ends for new projects.

• Claiming ownership or authorship of any Soundify music.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) based on your selected plan. All fees are non-refundable, except as required by law or explicitly stated otherwise.
Failure to pay will result in termination of your access to the Services.

5. Content Ownership

All music and sound effects available on Soundify remain the property of Soundify or its licensors. You receive a license to use the music but do not gain ownership or the right to resell or redistribute.

6. License Restrictions Upon Cancellation

Upon cancellation of your subscription, you may not use Soundify’s music for any new projects. Previously published content using Soundify music remains licensed under the terms valid during your subscription. Any unauthorized use of Soundify’s music after cancellation constitutes a breach of these Terms and may result in legal action.

7. Termination

Soundify reserves the right to terminate your account or access to the Services at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms.
You may cancel your subscription at any time; however, previously published content remains covered by the license terms valid during your subscription.

8. Warranties and Disclaimers

Soundify strives to provide high-quality music and sound effects but does not guarantee the fitness of tracks for any specific purpose. The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Soundify shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our Services.

10. Modifications

Soundify may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada.
